Twice a year, interior designers, buyers, furniture editors and trend spotters from all over the country meet in High Point, North Carolina to see the latest and greatest the home furnishings industry has to offer. We are a part of a passionate industry, where the mood is positive and energy is high. Each day we’re there we are inspired and enriched by new designs, interesting materials, technology and expert craftsmanship.
The key trends we spotted: twins and triplets! Ottomans or occasional tables placed in twos or threes used in place of a cocktail table. Natural themes emphasized neutral tones layered with texture – faux fur, faux bois, shearling, and thick plush almost mod textures were important materials for pillows, ottomans and occasional chairs. We can’t forget navy and white…as a stand-alone palette, it can swing Coastal or French.
We love this shot above for the obvious reasons – cool textures mix with interesting patterns. But it’s really all about the horse right?
